Daimler Supplier Award 2020

Our wiring harness company, PKC is proud to announce that our North America team has been recognised with Daimler Supplier Award 2020 in the Innovation category for outstanding performance and collaborative partnership. The company, being a strategic global partner to Daimler, was appreciated for its high-level performance in terms of development and production of ultra-modern harnesses and the consistent support extended to Daimler Trucks. PKC Group North America’s successful efforts to cut time to market was valued and formed the possible basis of recognition.

Sustainable leather alternative

With the ambition to continually seek sustainability for now and the future,Motherson Group wants to provide innovative new product solutions to our customers. We are partnering with a startup,Natural Fibre Welding, who produce ‘Mirum, a high-performance plant-based material that is a sustainable leather alternative for potential integration to the premium automotive interiors of the future.

Logistic division of Motherson Group

Motherson Group today announced the launch of Samvardhana Motherson Hamakyorex Engineered Logistics Limited (SAMRX), a JV company between Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd. (SAMIL), India and Hamakyorex Co. Ltd., Japan. SAMRX aims to revolutionise the transportation of finished vehicles in India by developing a modern, technology-enabled and equitable socially conscious solution for the OEM customers. SAMRX was launched in the august presence of Mr. Osamu Suzuki, (Chairman, Suzuki Motor Corporation) and Hon’ble Ambassador of Japan to India His Excellency Mr. Kenji Hiramastsu.  The occasion was graced by Mr. R. C. Bhargava (Chairman, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.), Mr. Kenichi Ayukawa (MD & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.), Mr. M. Osuka (Chairman, HamakyorexCo. Ltd), Mr. Vivek Chaand Sehgal (Chairman, Motherson Group) and Mr. Laksh Vaaman Sehgal (Vice Chairman, Motherson Group).
